Lord Nazir has asked the UK govt to explain its spy agencies role in drone attacks in Pakistan.
He was reacting to the statement of former director of Britain’s Public Prosecution Lord McDonald.
Lord McDonald in his statement had said that a British intelligence agency had provided information to the US about the Taliban commanders.
Lord Nazir Ahmad said that the British ministers should submit explanation of their statements about the activities of the intelligence agencies.
If this was true then this was violation of international laws and was against sovereignty of Pakistan, he said. He said that hundreds of innocent people including women and children were killed in US drone attacks since 2004
