The era of PML-Q in Gujar Khan ended on Monday as its top leaders joined PTI alongwith a number of senior PML-Q leaders who also left their party. A press conference was held in Islamabad in which about 30 people decided to say good bye to PML-Q and formally joined PTI, in presence of Imran Khan, head of PTI.

Jangir Tareen, Leghari brothers, Ghulam Sarwar Khan and his two brothers, announced their decision to Join PTI, with many other central leaders of PML-Q.The key players of Gujar Khan politics, Ch Javed Kousar, Ch Azeem and Amir Afzal Qureshi and a number of their freinds also attended the press conference and formally joined PTI. With their induction PTI became a major political player in Gujar Khan and it is perceived that would be able to win elections in wake of Imran Khan's popularity across the country.
