Haji Rafiq passed away last night after prolonged illness in Lye, Stourbridge. His condition got worsened around midnight and he was rushed to QE hospital in Birmingham but he died a short while later. Haji Rafiq was father of Ch Tanvir. Origionally he was from Dehri and moved to settle here about fifty years ago. His funeral will be held at 8pm today at Lye mosque. The dead body will be flown to Pakistan via PIA flight on Saturday evening where his funeral and burial will be held around 3pm  on Sunday, 16th Sept. Haji Rafiq was uncle of Haji Ashfaq, Haji Akhlaq, Ch Ishtiaq and late Haji Shamim. Condolences can be offered at 1-Brook Crescent Lye.
